Freeze and Thaw
Oh the joys of my community. I love the fact that we all look out for each other and that we are all blessed with many different attributes so that we can help each other. So where do I start? Well, with Le Grand Cru, my partner in this endeavor is NO THEFT aka Tommy Panigot of Garage Voice. I’m not even sure if I’m supposed to be writing this (sorry Tommy, but I thought it was too late to call), but they are releasing an EP very soon! Well, as I checked my Twitter, I saw that our good friend Ben Blood, posted a link showing the artwork of the soon released EP that was done by ANOTHER good friend, the ever so talented Ms. Anna Hurley. Enjoy the artwork, and keep your ears open for the release of Freeze and Thaw!

Adolphe Mouron Cassandre

I’ve been getting into this gents work a lot lately, sharp images & fonts, it relies a lot on implication more than doing the obvious. My style exactly! Check out more of his work HERE

Bruce Lee Paper Cut-Out
Probably the only way you could ever cut him.

Re-post from LikeCool.
Cristiana Couceiro

I may have just found a rival to one of my favorites Jan Tschichold! Cristiana Is mixing foto, graphiks, & type into some amazing pieces. WOW please check out more of her work HERE and be inspired!

WOOD GRAIN
Hunter Gatherer has done some special products for the electronic protectors incase! I’m a sucker for wood grain and I should like to own all below. Put some in your cart HERE and check out!

SEDUCTIVE ESPIONAGE
Kevin Dart has put his time in on some amazing illustrations featuring his Le Femme character Yuki 7. It has a storyboard of 60′s Bond themes and all things spy related. The art work is amazing in its ruff appearance and has fine attention to an era of chic fashion/architecture/interior design. I’m inspired whenever i look at his work and will be adding some of his prints to my collection soon. Find out more about KD ->HERE<-

COLLAB
Patrick Michael Toney and I have teamed up for a Garage Voice concert at URBN Xchange one of the trendiest cool joints south of Seatown. It’s a hip thrift store/record shop/barber/venue joint! Pretty sweet. If you’re around Seatown you should deff. go to this show! My approach to this was to make it look like a mag. spread more than a poster to match the chic value of URBN. PMT did an amazing sketch to attach the show to the fashion aspect of the joint. STOKED!

Ludwig Hohlwein
This gent started out designing buildings back in old Germany until a switch of skills turned him onto poster design in 1906. The government recognized his skills and hired him to do a lot of propaganda works during WWI. The kids of that era had a great sense of composition/typography/colors/negative space, things that i’m a die hard for. Here are some of his prints not war propaganda related.

Vintage Bicycle Posters

My friend Aaron hooked me up with this site that has old prints of bicycle companies/events and they be d’lish! You can just get the print or for additional cost get them framed thru the same site. I like just looking at these prints and the legacy that they embody. I’m really engaged by the fixed gear scene and all the creative differences that flow out from each individual kid. I frequent Fixed Gallery and dream of Le Grand Cru doing something cycle related in the future. What I like about these prints is that they remind me of the legacy that was before the fixie kids and i hope that subtle things like a poster will somehow bring some honor into the scene. I’m done preaching. Check the site out HERE!
