It’s always so inspiring to see my friends pursuing their dreams. Michael Wogu and his team started MBARQGO. I went to school with Wogu and it’s great to see that we are putting our degrees to good use.

MBARQGO is a trailblazing start-up company making waves in the fashion industry with a new vision for travel inspired apparel, focusing on creating pieces that allow its wearers to securely carry their personal items without compromising style.

Their 2010 line called “The Come Up” is already getting some recognition in the industry. A few celebrities carrying their bags are: Big Sean, DJ Eric D-Lux, Jay Leno, and Travis from Gym Class Heroes.

Check out their website here.

Krochet Kids International

I barely mentioned this company a couple posts ago. Well, last night, I went to their warehouse concert which featured the incredible Karli Fairbanks. I was able to meet all 3 of the guys (Travis, Kohl, and Stewart) that started this. These guys are some of the coolest people I’ve met. The 3 of them started crocheting back in high school as a hobby, and now it’s turned into a huge success. Their vision: “To create sustainable economic development programs that support holistic growth of individuals and communities within developing nations. To inspire the knowledge of a generation about their ability to bring change to a world that is in need.”

Please check out their website to learn a whole lot more! Krochet Kids International

Keep up the good work fellas!

Zuriick

If I didn’t have a nice little hook up for shoes, they would probably be the cause of death for my wallet. I love the colorways Zuriick uses on their shoes. I’ll have to somehow get my hands feet on a pair.

My friend Jesse Howard has helped us out with some Le Grand Cru stuff. He is one of the reasons I thought starting my company would be dope! His company is called Matiko Shoes, and he’s already in several hundred boutiques and stores. Check it out!
