You know how you sometimes come across something just knowing that it’s going to take off? HandMeUps.org is one of those things. Founder Kurt Narmore has connected with some huge clothing brands and set up a system that “obtains brand new, unused, unworn clothing from radical brands who share a philanthropic interest” in order to give underprivileged kids some fresh gear. He’s also partnered up with the Boys & Girls Club of America and will be doing a 5 city summer tour, bringing some really great guests along for some motivational speaking.

Get used to seeing this logo. They are about to do some big things. And keep an eye out for our next CRU issue for an interview with Mr. Narmore himself.

Yes! We are so excited about our new items. We definitely wanted to do more graphic based stuff (even though we still L-O-V-E type) and we are really pleased with how these turned out. I’m always looking for a nice bag. Every trip taken is different and having only one bag may not satisfy all your accommodations. At the same time, I want my “piece” to reflect my style and there’s nothing wrong with wanting it to be different from everyone else. That’s why I keep coming back to The Herschel Supply Co. and trying to plan out the order I want these bags in.

For example, check out their Zippo. With an elongated body and reinforced top and bottom, I feel like I could take this either to my office or on my next camping trip. Take a closer look and you’ll see the detail from their custom fabric to their signature “Tear Away” removable waist straps. It’s also ALWAYS nice, when there’s a space for your laptop, and in the case of the Zippo, it can one up to 17″.

There are plenty of constants when it comes to imagery in the street scene that in my opinion jus need to rest. One of these is the fascination with Mickey Mouse, his gloves, his ears, the Disney logo spliced to spell label names…etc. WELL, this is the most clever, crisp, & simple concept I have seen, 10 circles makeing the body of Mickey Mouse. Bravo to ADAPT for reinventing the overdone and killin’ it.
