I am honored to have met Emily Wilkens and to call her my friend. She is full of life and has an amazing story to share in a book called “African Rice Heart”. She actually went on a 23 state book tour, and when she came to my town, I got to sit down with her to ask some questions. I’ve never been on a mission trip before, and Emily has definitely made me want to go even more. Here is the interview:

Gene Thornton Jr. aka Malice of the Clipse has written a book called, Wretched, Pitiful, Poor, Blind, And Naked and I was able to just ask some questions about it and talk about what he’s been going through. I’ve been a huge fan of the Clipse for a long time. Gene Elliott Thornton, Jr. (aka Malice) has written a book about his journey and how his life has changed throughout. I’m honestly not a big reader, but this book has me very intrigued. Mick Wiggins x John Steinbeck

Steinbeck is one of my favorite authors. I’ve read many of his books and am always ready to read the next one. My newest versions of his books have had their covers redesigned by an incredible illustrator Mick Wiggins. He has captured incredible imagery from the books, I’m always inspired by his covers. Every time I see these book covers I laugh out loud. A classic turned into Hollywood marvel! I found out last night that the lovely Natalie Portman has signed up to be Elizabeth Bennet in P&P&Z. I guess she’ll be more concerned about surviving/slaying zombies than helping her sisters love problems. I’m very curious as to how it will turn out, I guess I should read the book.
