The Metropolis of Tomorrow

Jus found these incredible sketches of Hugh Ferriss. This kid was on the top in the 20′s and though he never saw a sketch become material it inspired a lot of architect kids for years to come. Google this gent, inspiration will follow!
Craig Tracy

Cool painting huh? But take a closer look…..

The painting is actually done on 3 women. Body painter Chris Tracy did this project as part of “Save China’s Tigers” mission to protect and preserve the few remaining there are.

No Theft
No Theft aka “50% of Le Grand Cru” aka Tommy is so damn talented. It wouldn’t be fair to NOT share his other works with you. Tommy, hope you don’t mind me doing this.
So besides playing in a band, designing for Le Grand Cru, and just being a friend to everyone, Tommy is building his portfolio and has been designing posters for other friends. Here are a few:

So if you need or know anyone that needs some work done, holler at my boy while he’s still affordable!

Honestly, I was trying to think of what more to write about Bent Image Lab, but as I was going through their site, there were just waaaaaaaaay too many cool things to see, so you’ll have to check it out by clicking here.
California Skateparks
My friend Jason Sherwin, who is an Interactive Designer and Developer (also creator for the Moustache Me concept), just completed a project for California Skateparks. This company has worked on over 250 projects and specializes “in the design and construction of environments for skateboarding. Check the site out here.
Mighty Wallet
Tommy and I were walking through Ballard today and walked into this store that carried these awesome wallets. The Mighty Wallet is tear-resistant, water-resistant, expandable, and recyclable. Designed by a company called Dynomighty. Check out the website here to learn more about them and to see the other designs.

Florentijn Hofman
Mr. Hofman is known for playing with scale in his installations. These 2 are my favorite of his and you should see the rest of his marvelous work HERE. I enjoy how huge these projects are, it makes me think of when I was a kid and everything seemed HUGE! It’s nice to have that marvel back with these pieces.

Zumi Digital
Our ever so talented friend Ben Blood bought this camera and made this awesome video while he’s been on tour with Garage Voice and The Denouement. Ben, you continue to amaze us with your endless amounts of creativity!
