GREENLAND VIEWS

Thank you Boston.com for sharing the beauty of Greenland. These are my favorites of their post, see more HERE
LGC vs Wild
My sis and bro-in-law went for a walk and ran into this rattler. Yeah, talk about super powers from Le Grand Cru. Hahaha, don’t try this at home folks. Pictures taken from twenty4carrots.
Kick, Push…

So I went to meet a couple of friends at the Ballard Bowl yesterday, just to practice some photography while they skated. While there, I ran into this kid named Griffin Chase. While most 10-year old kids are indoors playing video games, Griffin was outside shreddin’ this skate bowl up! I got to chattin with him and his dad, and they were really cool people. Found out that Griffin has been skating since he was 6! Keep your eyes open for this kid, maybe one day he’ll give us a shout at the X Games!

Living Statue

Jesse Ferguson and Patrick Toney are some great friends of mine here in Seattle. They are also some of the most creative people I know. These pics are from the Seattle Center where Jesse and Patrick were “Living Statues”. All make up and costumes were done on their own.
Here are just a few clips from that day:

Seattle Nights
The other night a group of us were running around town trying to eat. P Smoov and company took me, NO THEFT, and Ben Blood to happy hour sushi at this joint called Dragonfish. Food was on point! Not only did we feed our hunger appetite, but also our cravings for creativity. Come check out P Smoov and Rik Rude (aka Fresh Espresso) tonight at the High Dive.

Meiko 2!
So my friend Matt (who introduced me to the sounds of Meiko) went to her concert about a week ago reppin’ Le Grand Cru! She saw the shirt and recognized! Here’s the story in his words:
I spotted meiko at the corner of the bar talking to some guy with a large beard. I inconspicuously put myself in her line of sight without looking at her. I finally shot a glance over and she was gazing at my shirt, thinking to herself “Where have I seen that shirt?” She was still talking to that guy, so I didn’t get a chance to say something. I thought that was my last chance to talk to her. As we were standing to hear her play, I saw her come out of her room with her guitar. We were right by the steps leading up to the stage. I made my shirt visible and it paid off. Making her way onstage, she stopped, grabbed my arm and said, “I have that shirt!” Immediately everyone was staring at me. I replied “Ya, the owner of the company, Mike, is one of my good friends.” “Ya, where did I see him? Seattle?” I said, “Ya, at The Crocodile.” I told her, “Good Luck” and she went to play her set. After the show, Meiko was at her merch booth. I went up to her and said, “I gotta get a picture for Mike” and with a smile she replied “Oh yeah!” I asked if she wore the shirt and she said she wore it throughout her remaining tour! I shook her hand and said, “Great show”. Then we parted ways…..for now.

Thanks for reminding Meiko about Le Grand Cru Matt! Hopefully you’ll see her again soon!
