Bobble

According to the statistics, Americans spend over $17 billion on bottled water and it takes 1.5 million barrels of oil to produce them. That’s why the water Bobble is a great solution.

The Bobble puts a new twist on the “reusable water bottle”. Not only does it look aesthetically pleasing, but it has a function that all other water bottles don’t….a filter. The good people at Bobble sent me one to check out. I actually like it a lot. The Bobble is squeezable and isn’t clunky. Lightweight and fits into my backpack side pocket easily. All the while filtering my water with every drink.

Some quick facts:

The Bobble is made in the USA

BPA-free and FDA approved

It is 100% recyclable and made from recyclable material

The filter is good for 40 gallons (which is about the equivalent of 300 water bottles) and easily replaceable.

The Bobble is only $9.95 and replacement filters are $6.95. The cool thing about the filters is that you can get a different color every time! Check out www.waterbobble.com today!

  1. Have you guys met anyone who has one? I’m wondering about what kind of filtering they use and if you can taste it. I hate the Britta filters because they make the water taste like charcoal. Many of the other filters don’t filter out the metals so your water just tastes metallic.

Anyway, seems like a cool idea, just wondering if you know anyone who’s used it…

I have one! It’s great! They use a carbon filter. The water doesn’t taste metallic to me, but I do remember that your water taste buds are very sensitive :-)

  4. [...] if you read the post about the Bobble, you know I’m a big fan of it. Well, we have a t-shirt of your choice and [...]

They look great! I’d love a bottle with a filter, I carry water bottles with me to college each day but this would be so much easier :)

I am a retired Public Health specialist and I spent 25 years working in International Health in countries where this idea would save lives every day.

Has any one of the Humanitarian NGOs shown any interest?

I now work for an NGO myself- my colleagues and I would be prepared to fund this product for use in Humanitarian emergencies.
